Nelson Roosendahl is running “to create a more accessible and connected campus with equality and welcoming atmosphere.”
Roosendahl stated that he wants to address parking congestion on campus, create more study spaces, improve dining options on campus, and lower the cost of books and tuition. He also wants to improve teacher accountability, student-transfer rates, and communication between the students and the Associated Student Government.
Lastly, he would like to invite students to have greater involvement with the college’s athletics programs and increase awareness of athletic opportunities and games. In particular, he will advocate for extended hours in the Life Fitness Center and promote athletic activities on campus.
