It doesn’t look like the benefit of the doubt granted by City College to the security position applicant worked out for the best.
For President-Superintendent John Romo to say there was no negligence on the part of the college in the Kafatia hire is saying there was no avoidable risk.
I don’t see it that way.

A corner was cut, and it’s a double-slap in the face not to have Romo admit it.
Much like the fact that no FBI authorities lost their job after Sept. 11, we see no City College employees lose their jobs over this major screw-up.
