done it again. Columbia Records released yet another Bob Dylan masterpiece, called “Modern Times”. Dylan’s first self-titled album came out in 1962 and 44 years later he can still create quality music. “Modern Times” has reached number one on the Billboard top 200 albums. Dylan is still telling stories through his expressive lyrics, which are outlined in songs such as, “Spirit On The Water” and “Beyond The Horizon”. His gentle style is still present in cooperation with lulling guitar and bass lines. The soft percussion and the smooth notes dance on the piano. His vocals sound slightly weathered when compared to songs from his older albums, but his unique sound is still as dashing as it was in the 1960s.
