Australian artist illustrates global issues in colored pencil

City College student Grace Tame’s artwork was recently on display and for sale in a North Hollywood gallery. The artist is graduating this semester with an associate degree in Theatre Arts.

"Tea For Three" is a piece of art that is being displayed at the student art exhibit "Bits and Pieces" on Tuesday, March 2, in the John Dunn Gourmet Dining Room at City College. The ceramic tea set was created by City College student Marla Mockus.

SBCC professor moonlights as underwater photographer
Rachel Bourke, city college student and feminist club member, puts the finishing touches on a t-shirt for the SBCC 2015 Clothesline Project, Monday morning, Oct. 26, in the Friendship Plaza on East Campus. The Clothesline Project is an effort to raise awareness about sexual violence and is presented by Student Health and Wellness and City College Connect, with participation from the Feminist Club, the Rape Crisis Center, the Health and Wellness Center and the Pacific Pride Foundation.
