W. Kamau Bell, comedian and host of the CNN series “United Shades of America,” hosted the 26th annual Leonardo Dorantes Memorial Lecture on Wednesday, Nov. 9 in the Garvin Theatre at City College. The memorial lecture was started by the SBCC foundation in 1991 when City College Student, Leonardo Dorantes was murdered for his Mexican heritage on State Street.
