Hit-and-run incidents have increased in numbers this semester, half of which occurred in Parking Lot 2-C near the La Playa Stadium, Wednesday morning, Oct. 28, on East Campus. Parking Lot 2-C is one of the busier lots on campus, where students are often driving around to find a spot.

This former church is currently under renovations to become a new Community Center in Isla Vista, Saturday, Oct. 17 at 976 Embarcadero Del Mar in Isla Vista. The space was open for an event called ‘Community Building Community,’ where residents and the public were able to give input on how best to use the available space, during Meet Your Neighbors Day in Isla Vista.

The City College men’s soccer team has players from all over the world, with 15 players from the United States and 14 international students, with assistant coach Goffin Boyoko and head coach John Sisterson (not pictured), Thursday, Sept. 30, at La Playa Stadium in Santa Barbara, Calif. City College has had very few local players on the soccer team for the past three years, while before 2013 nearly one third of the team was from Santa Barbara County.
