Men’s golf: City College at Bakersfield Country Club WSC #9

The Vaquero Men’s golf team traveled to Bakersfield Country Club for the Western State Conference. At the time of publishing, individual stats were not available for City College regarding the game at Bakersfield Country Club.

Tuesday, April 23

Softball: City College at Allan Hancock (W 3-0)

The Vaquero softball team beat the Allan Hancock Bulldogs on Tuesday with a winning score of 3-0. Center fielder Mia Reveles scored the first point on the top of the first with a showstopping hit to third base. Pitcher Alena Johnson faced a total of 25 batters. Baseball: City College vs Allan Hancock (W 4-0)

City College’s baseball team beat Allan Hancock at Pershing Park, ending with a score of 4-0. Left-hand pitcher Jake Villar was named player of the game, facing a total of 31 batters and striking out 73 out of 101 pitches in total. The Vaqs mark their 10-win streak.

Baseball: City College at La Pierce ( L 7-8)

City College played the La Pierce Brahmas and ended with a loss. The Vaqs scored the first point of the game at the top of the second, run home by Vince Gamberdella. The Brahams gained the lead at the bottom of the fourth quarter, scoring four points.
