Dean of Health and Human Services Alan Price and Director of Instructional Technology Robert Brown both received Outstanding Administrator of the Year awards recognizing their work done at City College.
Price worked at City College for over ten years and has been nominated for the award four times. He worked in health and human services as well as career technologies during his time as a dean. Price’s contract as a dean was not extended and will conclude at the end of June.
“I am honored and humbled because of what the award represents it’s in a small way a recognition of my performance, my contributions, my accomplishments to this college, but that is a wrong view,” Price said. “I have not accomplished anything alone, I have the privilege and the pleasure of working with amazing faculty and staff… so this award is part theirs as it is mine.”
Robert Brown additionally works as the co-director and development specialist of the Faculty Resource Center at City College. Brown specializes in web page development, online course training, graphic design, and the campus portal.
Presented by Monica Campbell, director of the school of extended learning, both administrators were honored at the Board of Trustees meeting on March 20.
