Kites fill the sky along with awards, events, and food trucks at The Great Meadow

City College held the 37th annual Kite Festival on April 21. After getting postponed from its original date on April 14, many kite flyers were ecstatic to showcase their kite flying skills. The festival lasted from 11am to 4 p.m., and all were invited to join the fun. There were many events and awards given throughout such as most biggest kite, oldest kite flyer, youngest kite flyer, and most creative kite. Vendors came out to support which includes pace painters, bubble blowing, and hot dog stands.
