The Associated Student Government meeting on Friday, Sept. 22, laid out new guidelines for commissioner interviews.
At the ASG’s next meeting on Friday, Sept. 29, the board will be conducting interviews to fill vacant commissioner roles on the student council. Applicants have already submitted a comprehensive application and filmed videos answering preliminary questions given by the board.
Prospective commissioners will be expected to answer three extensive questions regarding the commissioner role they are applying for.
The meeting will lengthen by an hour for the interviews, running from 9 a.m. until noon.
Each applicant will answer three questions with an allotted two minutes per question to answer.
The ASG hopes that future commissioners will volunteer for two of their new committees; the EBT committee and the Voter Registration committee. Both of these are new to the board and require more commissioner support to get off the ground.
City College will be hosting a vaccine clinic sponsored by Albertsons. Flu and COVID vaccines will both be administered. Date, time and location are all pending, tentatively the date is set for the end of October.
The ASG will meet next on Friday, Sept. 29 at 9 a.m.
