Feb. 4- 9:25 a.m.
Security caught a student vandalizing a light post in Lot 4A near the west campus entrance. The student wrote the word “GOOP” on a post office sticker, which Campus Security Director Erik Fricke said is very hard to remove, and placed it on the pole. The same post office stickers were found in three different locations around campus.
Feb. 5- 10:45 a.m.
Two students broke the glass to a fire hose cabinet on the second floor of the Administration Building. When a custodian confronted them, the two males with skateboards fled the scene. The cabinet has since been fixed and the students remain unknown.
Feb. 8- 11:25 a.m.
A male suspect recorded a video with his phone of a student using the bathroom in the Drama/ Music building. When the victim spoke to the individual, while still in the stall, he spoke back only in Swedish. After leaving the restroom, the victim saw two males speaking Swedish to each other. He later identified them to the Santa Barbara Police Department; the police are investigating the incident. Depending on their intent, the suspect could be required to register as a sex offender.
Feb. 9- 1:15 p.m.
A suspect tagged the second floor men’s bathroom with black sharpie in the Administration Building on the soap dispenser and wall. The graffiti is illegible but the same style has been reported in three different bathrooms throughout the campus.
Feb. 10- 6:30 p.m.
A male in the middle of Loma Alta Drive was seen by security making lewd gestures to motorists. He tagged a light post 15 minutes later in Lot 2A and fled when confronted by security. He has not been identified.
