March 26 – 3:15 p.m.
Staff members reported to Campus Security that someone had stolen money from the bookstore. Security footage shows an unidentified white male walk into the store, casually stroll around a few times, and then duck into an office without being noticed. The man made off with $1,176.64. Police were notified and a report has been made.
March 26 – 6 p.m.
A student reported to security that his bike was stolen from outside the Occupational Education Building. The student claims that he left the bike locked to a light pole at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. When he returned the next day at 11:30 a.m. it was gone.
March 30 – 10:15 p.m.
Security observed a man passed out on the walkway between the Student Services Building and the medical designated parking stalls. The man, who is not a student, was too intoxicated to answer questions, so police were called. When they arrived the man became resistant and was taken into custody.
April 7 – 1:15 p.m.
A City College employee reported that a male student had threatened him. The student made verbal threats to the employee over the phone, stating that he was going to “beat his ass” among other things. The dispute was started over the student’s status in a particular class. The case is still under investigation but the student has been referred to student discipline, and police have been contacted.
April 7 – 4:35 p.m.
Security received a report that the single-use bathroom on the second floor of the Humanities Building was vandalized. Someone had used some sort of tool or object to strike the paper towel dispenser and partially dislodged it from the wall. No other damage was observed. The facilities department was called to fix the damage.
