Feb. 4 – 3:16 p.m.
The Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Department arrived on campus to serve an arrest warrant. A male student was wanted for an incident that occurred in Isla Vista. Police arrested the student without any resistance.
Feb. 6 – 5:20 p.m.
Paramedics were called after security discovered a man passed out under the influence of alcohol near the Winslow Maxwell Overlook. Security failed to wake the man up after several attempts. Paramedics succeeded in doing so and the man became combative, requiring the police to be called who helped escort the man into custody.
Feb. 9 – Noon
A female student reported to Campus Security that her bike had been stolen. The bike was locked in front of the entrance to the track field near the Sports Pavilion.
Feb. 9 – 12:20 p.m.
A City College maintenance vehicle was stolen while parked off-campus on Haley Street. The white Ford Ranger was taken while the employee was conducting college business and left the car unattended. The Santa Barbara Police Department was informed and a report has been filed.
Feb. 10 – 9:20 p.m.
A male student was reported getting into an altercation with police near the East Campus bus stop. The student was determined to have mental health issues, and was placed under a mandatory 72-hour hold to assess his condition, otherwise known as a 5150.
