A former student sent an aggressive email to a college department that contained death threats. Campus Security made a police report and the incident is currently under investigation.
Oct. 13 – 3:50 p.m.
A student’s purple backpack was stolen from the lawn between the Physical Science Building and the Campus Center Friday, Oct. 10. The value of the content was $700 including a HP laptop. The student stated that she got up and left the backpack unattended on the lawn and 10 minutes later it was gone when she returned. She reported the incident to Campus Security the following Monday.
Oct. 14 – 8 p.m.
A student’s white MacBook laptop valued at $1000 was stolen from the first floor of the Luria Library. The student reported the incident to Campus Security on Tuesday, but said that he thinks it was stolen Monday, Oct. 13. The report doesn’t state the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Oct. 15 – 4:30 p.m.
A student’s black and yellow mountain bike valued at $250 was stolen from the bicycle racks behind the Physical Science Building. The student stated that he locked his bike with a combination lock cable at 2:20 p.m. and that it was gone when he returned at 4:20 p.m.
