Feb. 19 – 7:05 p.m.
Security responded to a call from the West Snack Shop. A male student was disrespectful towards the staff, tossing his food on the scale, which startled the cashier. He then wrote swear words on his receipt and handed it back to the cashier. He also bumped into another employee, on purpose, according to the staff, then left. Security made contact with him. He has been cited for previous incidents.
Feb. 20 – 3:45 p.m.
A student yelled at the teacher in ECC-01 after a class. The student came up to the teacher because of an assignment that was given during class, yelled and then left the classroom. The teacher contacted security that then referred the student to the dean of discipline. The teacher claimed that the outburst was unprovoked.
Feb. 24 – 8:04 a.m.
A male student started re-arranging furniture on the first floor of the Luria Library to hide while sleeping. While trying to take the furniture back, Library staff found the sleeping student. Security arrived and woke him up. He put the furniture back and then left the library.
Feb. 24 – 11 a.m.
A suspended student came to campus without authorization for unknown reasons. The male student is not allowed on campus because of previous disruptions. The student came to the Student Services Building where the staff recognized him and contacted security. The suspension was supposed to be removed last semester but the dean didn’t approve his return. Before he can come back to campus he must have a meeting with the dean who can approve that he can come back.
