Spurring growth and creativity is the goal of any university and the Scheinfeld Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation is looking to do the same.
The Enlightened Entrepreneurship series at City College is proud to host an evening with award-winning business author Jack Nadel, at 4 p.m. Nov. 8, inside the Fe Bland Forum.
“I’ve made a profit in business every year for 67 years straight,” admits Nadel in his book “The Evolution of an Entrepreneur.”
The event will feature Nadel discussing the tips and knowledge he has gained in his highly successful entrepreneur spanning almost 70 years.
“His message is so relevant to students today,” said Scheinfeld Center Director Melissa Moreno.
The Entrepreneurship Series wants to bring a more organic conversation to the table with their guest. “We want to extract a story no one else has heard,” said Moreno. We actually tell our guest “not to prepare.”
With the collection of high caliber businessmen and woman the Scheinfeld Center has already hosted, Nadel is sure to add to it.
Along with his brother in 1946, Nadel started Trans Pacific Traders and has not looked back since.
“He’s just an ordinary guy giving back to his community, we have yet to pay a speaker a single cent,” said Moreno.
A reception will be held directly after the event in the Business–Communication Center on West Campus, with refreshments and a meet and greet with Jack Nadel himself.
A copy of his book “The Evolution of an Entrepreneur” will be given to all who attend.
Students are encouraged to ask direct questions and interact with Nadel during the speech.
