Local contractor Skyler Whitsett inserts and screws in a pipe that will attach to a water spout above the burners in the newly renovated kitchens on Oct. 13 at City College in Santa Barbara, Calif. The culinary department’s kitchens were gutted and redesigned during the pandemic so as to not bother classes.
